Central Oasis
“Central Oasis” is a vibrant collaboration by six Hong Kong illustrators who came together to transform Central Market into a living, breathing art space. Through a large-scale, hand-painted mural, we reimagine this once outdated and out-of-business venue, infusing it with creativity and new energy in the heart of Hong Kong’s bustling business district.
Each artist contributed a unique chapter of human history to the mural, weaving together a visual narrative that spans time. My section takes viewers back to the age of dinosaurs, featuring a cheerful, smiling dinosaur. With this playful touch, I hope to bring a moment of joy and lightness to the countless people who pass through Central—often rushed, concerned, and unrelaxed. “Central Oasis” stands as a reminder to pause, smile, and rediscover the charm of this revitalized space.
Conquering the World with Love – Antalis
Antalis, a global leader in Papers, Packaging, and Visual Communication distribution headquartered in Japan, invited artists in Hong Kong to create artwork showcasing their prestigious, environmentally friendly (FSC-certified) papers. Rita was proud to be one of the selected artists for this meaningful initiative. The theme of the exhibition, Conquering the World with Love, highlights the power of creativity and sustainability to inspire positive change.
Chic! – Antalis
Chic! is a unique and stylish exhibition featuring illustrated paper clutch bags. Once again, Antalis invited Hong Kong artists to participate, using their prestigious, high-quality papers to craft creative and elegant paper clutch bag designs. This special showcase celebrates the versatility and beauty of paper as both an artistic and functional medium.
